Based on the assessment, nutrition education can be imparted to the individual.

CEREAL FOOD GROUP 

Cereals and millets form the staple food of human race. Grain foods are mostly made from wheat, oats, rice, rye, barley, millet, quinoa and corn. The different grains can be cooked and eaten whole, ground into flour to make a variety of cereal foods like bread, pasta and noodles, or made into ready-to-eat breakfast cereals. Cereals as a whole are rich sources of starch or carbohydrate, and good sources of protein in an Indian diet. Millets like ragi are a rich source of mineral Calcium. Cereals are also good sources of B group vitamins.
